The marriage of watercolor with pen and ink can be magical.  In this three day workshop we will look at how to incorporate Pen and Ink in a dynamic watercolor painting.  On day one we will begin with looking at the different pen strokes and the ways pen techniques are used in a painting.  Then we will apply that to a piece to be completed with watercolor.  On days two and three we will explore watercolor textures with pen and ink in a more freestyle way.  We will create our own small watercolor journal to use with our pen and ink techniques.  I will demonstrate some tips and tricks on how to prepare a journal for future paintings.

It was an amazing trip with days full of painting, great food and wonderful friendship!

"This workshop is a re-discovery of my native city Palermo, both on the seaside and in its historical center. We'll be based in the sea village of Mondello, right on the cross road of its 2-mile-long beach. We will also do sightseeing and painting downtown Palermo, in the bewitching centro storico.
